Get ready for the West Ealing SoundBite Festival on Saturday 21st September

This year we’ve managed to raise additional sponsorship to add Dean Gardens as a venue to our previous Famliy Day events. As a result, we’ve been able to expand the whole eent in to the West Ealing SoundBite Festival. The centrepiece will be a range of hot and cold food and community stalls and live music in Dean Gardens. There’s mush more to it than this but just as a taster two of the bans playing in Dean Gardens are the

Bollywood Brass Band

and

Tankus the Henge

Follow SoundBite on its Facebook page to keep up to date with all the activities and events being planned for September 21st

  1. Supporting information for a stall to exhibit at the
    Soundbite Festival on 21st September 2013 – Mobile: 07947 585582

    Dear Sir / Madam

I would be very grateful if given an opportunity for a stall space at the Sound Bite festival on 21st September 2013 and this would also be a contribution towards my fund raising charitable cause. I am a local resident having lived in Ealing, W13 for 35 years. Last year I have also participated in the local West Ealing Market that used to take place on the 1st Saturday of the month. Would very much appreciate an opportunity to exhibit with a minimum amount of rent on the day for the stall. I also wanted to enquire if a marquee and a table is supplied as a stall

I am a registered member and support The Women’s Soroptimist International
of Great Britain & Ireland, a UK Registered Charity No. 1089490. This is a worldwide organisation founded in 1921. It is basically about women from Management and Professional back grounds, that form a team of all ages, cultures and ethnic groups working through specific projects to advance human rights and provide a better status for women and children. We try to raise funds in a small way by exhibiting at local events and in this way we also put something back into the community.

We are currently supporting the UKPAC’s Flagship Project: VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN – STOP IT NOW. This is a campaign to stop the trafficking – stop the tears. We aim to obtain a target of 100,000 signatures which is a requirement for the House of Parliament – in order to take action on “Ban ‘Sex for Sale’ Advertising” The proceeds of profits would go towards the accommodation of vulnerable people.

I sell hand-made art jewellery, the collection comprises of eg. hand painted bangles, rings and earrings made from re-cycled metal, cotton hand painted scarves which are produced from recycled materials where environmentally sustainable practices are used that respect the basic human rights. Most of these items are made in the workshops by craftswomen / artisans from local communities in India to revive traditional local handicrafts and also provide employment to supplement their source of income by earning a living wage. This in turn would give them a chance to look forward for a secure future to invest into their local community for land and housing.

  2. Thanks for contacting us Sabuai

I’ve now checked on the stalls and we already have a facepainting one st St James Church which is our main children’s entertainment area, so I don’t think it would work to have two on this occasion. Sorry about this but do keep an eye on the blog as there will be other events where facepainting would work wel..

    Thanks again

    1. Dear David
Thanks for replying. I am so sorry for not having come back to you in the last few days as I was not well. David also just to inform you I know it is very short notice to the event as there is only one day left, however if there is a stall available and as I live down the road at St Kilda Road, just very local I am able to make it for Saturday. My mobile no. is 07947 585582.

I would also request if you can kindly check your information again, as I do not do face painting and my information is at the beginning of the page and I only do hand made jewellery and support the charity, information provided above. Also my name is Sheila Sadarangani not Sabuai (as mentioned above – it seems to be a mis understanding somewhere)

Thank you very much David, I await your reply.
      Sheila Sadarangani

  3. Hi,

I represent Radiate Harrow, a community group supporting vulnerable adults and we’re interested in hiring a stall for this Saturday’s Soundbite festival. We primarily sell customized t-shirts where we print t-shirts on the day according to customers specifications but also have a juice stand. If you could get back to me with some more details about the event that would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Aliasgar makda,
    Radiate Harrow.
